some new work in an ongoing series started in 2003. this one has a distinctly architectural heft to it with its layered-up plywood (my spirit animal, perhaps) and really looks pretty tough on the wall. The color is inspired by my many days in the drink at Venice Breakwater and the plywood comes from that community too; where artists, bikers, bangers, weirdos and funk architecture, and plywood, seemed to be everywhere I looked.
